In June 2023, Miss Adair, Mr Wilson and children from our Eco Committee were delighted to receive a new Eco Flag this week. We are proud to be an 'Eco School School' and would like to thank those who's continued support has helped us to meet our environmental targets. Be sure to look out for our nice new flag flying high beside our school.
In the spring term of 2022, the school community pledged to raise £1,000 for the NI Children's Hospice. The staff and children decorated their very own Trinity NS Elmer which took pride of place at Lanyon Place Train Station as part of Elmer's Big Belfast Trail. ????????️
In May 2022 the school officially opened our newly refurbished top play ground, (visible to the right of the school entrance) by our local MP Stephen Farry, members of the Board of Governors and pupils of 2021-22. Many thanks to the parents who helped the school fundraise for the play equipment. ????????

In November 2018 the Nursery underwent an Inspection by the Education and Training Inspectorate and was awarded "outstanding" in all areas. Mrs Perry (former Principal), received the award for Nursery Principal of the Year in the Families First Awards 2017.
We received the "Centre of Excellence in Childcare 2016" Award in the Families First Awards category for Best Nursery.
In October 2011 we were honoured to receive the Gold Award in the Action Cancer and Centra Health Action Awards. The children were delighted to be chosen to help launch the Healthy Action Heros initiative and got to meet two very special puppets, Mambo and Jazz. We have also received the Gold Award in 4 subsequent years.
We also achieved an "outstanding" report on our previous inspection in May 2011 the by the Education and Training Inspectorate also . The Report can be viewed here.
In April 2011 we gain the internationally recognised Green Flag status from the Eco-Schools programme for the work we do to promote environmental awareness and action. You will see our Green Flag proudly flying in the grounds of the Nursery. We have successfully received this award every year since.
